The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office
is set to continue to be against granting a request for house
arrest from the defence lawyers of Mohammad Abedini Najafabadi,
an Iranian engineer arrested at the city's Malpensa airport last
month on a warrant issued by the US for allegedly supplying
drone components to Tehran, at least until a hearing schedule
for January 15, sources said on Tuesday.
Abedini is accused of exporting drone parts allegedly used to
kill three US servicemen in Jordan a year ago.
