There is a "shared desire" with
Ukraine to sign on April 9 in Trieste, within a meeting of
ministers from the Eastern European quadrant countries, a
memorandum of understanding on the Horonda intermodal logistics
platform project "which aims to support trade to and from
Ukraine, especially at a historical moment such as the present
in which Ukrainian port facilities are severely compromised due
to the ongoing conflict." This stance was reported by Italy's
Minister of Enterprise, Adolfo Urso, explaining that he had
"deepened the contents and the next developments of the project"
with Ukrainian Vice-Premier and Minister of Industry, Julija
Svyrydenko, on the sidelines of the G7 Industry in Verona.
