Following Assad's ouster, the
German Interior Ministry has decided to halt decisions on Syrian
asylum requests, the Der Spiegel magazine reported. A ministry
spokesperson, cited by the magazine, stated that it is currently
unclear how the situation will develop, making it impossible to
make well-founded assessments.
