Screenings, appointments and
events for cinephiles and young viewers also under the banner of
the cross-border dimension, in view of GO!2025 Gorizia and Nova
Gorica European Capital of Culture. It is the 43rd "Sergio
Amidei" Best Screenplay Award, organized, among others, by the
"Sergio Amidei" Cultural Association, which will take place in
Gorizia from July 11 to 17 and this year boasts a collaboration
with the Giffoni Film Festival. Meanwhile, as in the past two
years, the prize jury is hard at work for the Far East Film
Festival in Udine, which has started a collaboration with the
Amidei Prize for the Mulberry for Best Screenplay. As for the
collaboration with the Giffoni FF, the "giffoners" i.e., young
aficionados of the Campania-based festival, will participate in
the scheduled training activities in addition to visiting the
border area, the history of the Great War, the connection with
Nova Gorica to go as far as Ljubljana with a visit to the city
and thematic meetings on audiovisual and cinema. In addition,
the youngsters will also try their hand at writing a film
subject.
