"The European Commission has
approved the second major project for the North Adriatic
Hydrogen Valley development. Funding of 7.6 million has been
allocated to the North Adriatic Clean Hydrogen Investment
Platform, which will focus on accelerating transnational
innovation actions within the hydrogen ecosystem formed through
collaboration between Friuli Venezia Giulia, Slovenia, and
Croatia."
This decision was announced today by the governor of Fvg,
Massimiliano Fedriga.
"This," he explained, "is another important funding step
forward for the realization of the constantly evolving hydrogen
valley, which represents a strategic cross-border project for
the future of sustainable energy supply in the region."
The Platform is scheduled to kick off in the fall of 2024.
The three-year initiative will use the awarded grant to
co-finance projects throughout the North Adriatic region. The
total value committed by the initiative is 10.5 million.
