Premier Giorgia Meloni said Thursday
she was satisfied with an agreement with Stellantis to keep up
the carmaker's commitment to its Italian plants and save jobs.
"I am satisfied with the agreement with Stellantis, we are
trying to do what we can to always have an approach that
protects workers", she told an end of year press conference.
The Italo-Franco-American manufacturer has offshored several
models in recent years but has recently reaffirmed a commitment
to Italy amid fears of job losses and plunging sales.
