Fiorentina midfielder Edoardo Bove
was discharged from Florence's Careggi hospital on Friday, 12
days after he collapsed during a Serie A match against Inter.
The 22-year-old underwent a series of tests, the results of
which doctors will use to try to establish what caused the
health scare.
On Tuesday he had a removable subcutaneous defibrillator
implanted.
The defibrillator will have to be removed if he is to return to
action in Italy as Italian regulations, unlike those of
countries such as Britain, Spain and Germany, do not allow
players to have them.
