Atalanta beat AS Roma 2-0 in the
Italian capital on Monday to stay hot on the heels of Serie A
leaders Napoli thanks to second-half goals by Marten De Roon and
former Roma forward Nicolo Zaniolo.
The Bergamo side have 31 points from 14 games, one fewer than
Napoli, and two points more than champions Inter, Fiorentina and
Lazio.
Inter and Fiorentina have a game in hand after their clash in
Florence on Sunday was suspended due to Fiorentina midfielder
Edoardo Bove collapsing on the pitch.
Roma are 15th with 13 points, two points above the relegation
zone.
