Italy at the International Organisations in Vienna is committed to security and sustainability, which comes in various guises, from challenges to international crime to nuclear applications and industrial development. This was emphasised by the Permanent Representative to the International Organisations in Vienna, Debora Lepre, interviewed by ANSA on the sidelines of the States General of Diplomacy.
"The Vienna multilateral is a particular multilateral, very technical, which from corruption to the fight against drugs, from transnational crime to energy - because there is the Aiea, which is atomic energy - deals a bit with all contemporary challenges. A multilateral in which Italy is there, very present both at the level of international officials and at the level of issues,' Lepre stressed. 'It is certainly a multilateral with very technical projects and declinations, but like all technical things in the end it is very political'.
