The new horizons of collaboration between Italy and Poland in the aerospace field were outlined during the fourth edition of the Forum dedicated to this theme organised in Warsaw by the Italian Embassy in Poland, ICE and the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Poland, with the strategic collaboration of Leonardo.
At the opening of the proceedings, Ambassador Luca Franchetti Pardo emphasised that the aerospace industry is a crucial element of both technological progress and security. The presence of numerous senior Polish officials, including General Lech Majewski, Director of the Defence Industry Department at the Ministry of Economic Development, confirmed the full focus on strengthening bilateral synergies.
The meeting discussed opportunities for industrial collaboration, the new frontiers of drones, and the prospects for a 'global space economy'. In view of today's National Space Day, the Forum laid the foundations for future projects further consolidating the strategic role of the aerospace sector in the European scenario.
