Inail said Thursday that 890
work-related deaths were reported to it in the first 10 months
of this year, an increase of 2.5% with respect to the equivalent
period in 2023.
The national labour accidents and occupation illness insurance
agency said 657 of the deaths occurred in the place of work
while 233 happened on the home-work journey.
It said there were a total of 491,439 work-related accident in
the first 10 months of the year, up 0.4% compared to the same
period in 2023.
