Mattia Lucarelli, son of former
Livorno talismanic striker Cristiano, and Federico Apolloni, the
two young Livorno footballers accused of sexual assault against
a 22-year-old American student, were sentenced to three years
and seven months by a Milan preliminary hearings judge (GUP) on
Wednesday.
Roberto Crepaldi issued his ruling at the end of the trial by
abridged procedure in which there are three other defendants.
The two players ended up under house arrest in January 2023 and
were released the following June.
