(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 10 - Stellantis contractor Trasnova on
Tuesday withdrew 97 redundancies at three of the carmaker's
plants after the Italo-Franco-American manufacturer extended its
contract for a year in a deal brokered at the transport ministry
in Rome.
Stellantis committed to extending the supply contract for one
year with Trasnova, which therefore pulled the layoffs.
The extension also reportedly concerns the subcontracting
companies Logitech, Teknoservice and Csa for which the
continuation of the activity is guaranteed for a total of
approximately 300 workers
Trasnova will now have to find a solution for its workers in the
next 12 months by diversifying its activities and using the
legal tools provided for in crisis situations, the ministry
said. (ANSA).
