(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 10 - A court in the Calabrian city of
Crotone on Tuesday sentenced three alleged migrant smugglers to
terms of between 11 and 16 years in prison over their
involvement in the February 26 2023 shipwreck off the nearby
coastal area of Steccato di Cutro that caused the death of at
least 94 people, including 35 children and teens. (ANSA).
