(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 8 - Pope Francis on Sunday appealed for a Christmas ceasefire on all fronts in the world where war is being waged.
    "Let us continue to pray for peace: in the tormented Ukraine, in the Middle East, Palestine, Israel, Lebanon, now Syria, in Myanmar, in South Sudan, and everywhere people suffer because of war and violence", Francis said at the Angelus. (ANSA).
