(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 20 - Premier Giorgia Meloni on Wednesday
said she shared a common political interest in defending the
West's identity, freedom and sovereignty with Argentina's
President Javier Milei, after a bilateral meeting in Buenos
Aires.
With Milei, said Meloni in joint statements with the head of
State, "there is a political condivision between two leaders who
fight to defend the identity of the West, freedom, sovereigny,
there is much more than a common cooperation between nations,
the strength of ideas and the courage necessary to defend them".
"During our bilateral (meeting) we have confirmed our will to
work together, our identity of views is very strong on many
dossiers", Meloni said at the end of the talks.
"I want to thank Milei, it's my first visit, he made us feel at
home", Meloni said in the joint statements with Milei at the end
of the bilateral meeting, stressing that the "Italian and
Argentine people are brothers". (ANSA).
