(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 19 - The eight projectiles that hit an
Italian UNIFIL base without hurting anyone Tuesday were probably
Hezbollah rockets, Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said.
"It was probably Hezbollah's light rockets" that hit the base at
Shama in Lebanon, Deputy Prime Minister Tajani told journalists
at the foreign ministry, the Farnesina.
"It is unacceptable that the UNIFIL contingent is being shot
at.
"They have no right to do so, they are troops that have also
guaranteed the security of Hezbollah.
"If it was a mistake, they should learn to use their weapons
better.
"We are not anyone's enemy, we are there to bring peace.
"All our solidarity goes to the Italian soldiers who are engaged
with UNIFIl, and we hope this is the last episode". (ANSA).
