(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 8 - Italian bank and insurer Unipol on
Friday posted nine-month profits down 5.9% to 724 million euros,
compared to the same period in 2023.
The result was affected by an employee solidarity fund worth a
pre-tax 103 million euros for the early retirement of some 500
employees.
Net profits considering the contribution of holdings BPER and
Banca Popolare di Sondrio went up 8.5% to 834 million euros as
of September 30, the bank said in a note.
Premiums went up 9.1% to 11.4 billion euros.
The solvency ratio of the group was 224% at the end of
September, the bank said. (ANSA).
