(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 8 - All six defendants were convicted
Friday of gang raping a 19-year-old woman in an abandoned
building site in Palermo in July last year.
Four were sentenced to seven years in prison, while one got six
years and four months and the sixth four years and eight months.
The victim reported the abuse to the police, which had been
filmed by the eldest of the defendants on his cell phone.
The only one of the gang who had not yet turned 18 at the time
of the incident has already been sentenced by the preliminary
hearing judge for minors to 8 years and 8 months. (ANSA).
