(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 28 - Freshly crowned David Cup winner
Jannik Sinner says in a video for Rome's final presentation of
its bid for Expo 2030, to be decided in Paris later Tuesday,
that the bidders should "do as I do and never give up.
"I never give up, whatever the score of the match. I always try
to give my best", said the 22-year-old South Tyrolean world
number four, who has beaten record 24 slam winner and Serb great
Novak Djokovic twice recently.
"I am happy to be here with you, especially after Sunday's
victory in the Davis Cup," says Sinner, "Italy embodies the
values of sport, society and humanity.
"In tennis you win in 2 sets, this is the number you have to
vote for today,' concluded the Italian tennis player referring
to the number assigned to Rome in its competition with Saudi
capital Riyadh and South Korea's second biggest city Busan.
