(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 28 - Rome was making its final bid to host
Expo 2030 along with Riyadh and South Korea's Busan on Tuesday
afternoon, with a 20-minute presentation by each bidder followed
by the crunch ballot.
Busan was the first to present at the Palais des Congrès in
Issy-les-Moulineaux just outside Paris, followed by the Eternal
City and then the Saudi capital.
The proceedings started one hour behind schedule.
Following the presentations, delegates from 182 countries will
choose between the three candidates in a secret ballot.
In the event that no bidder gets more than two thirds of total
votes, there will be a run-off between the two finalists in a
second vote immediately afterwards. (ANSA).
